604 Trails: Deer Lake Park In Burnaby

Deer-Lake

Deer Lake Park makes for a great brisk walk in the winter and a pleasant backdrop for weddings in the spring.

The trails around Deer Lake are accessible year-round and attract park strollers, dog walkers and joggers. The roughly 5km round-trip offers “a nice, flat, and easy walk that circles the lake and passes by a beach area, a viewing tower, and pier.” Check out all that the Deer Lake trail has to offer in this scenic video by Vancouver Trails:

Deer Lake Park is a cultural centre point for the City of Burnaby as is home to various arts and heritage facilities like the Burnaby Village Museum and Burnaby Art Gallery. In the summer you can expect to see festivals, weddings and picnics all over!

Visit the Deer Lake information page by Vancouver Trails for more information about the hiking trail such as its ecology and how to get there.
