Actress Jennifer Beals Confronted In Vancouver For Leaving Dog In Car

American actress Jennifer Beals is in hot water for allegedly leaving her dog inside a hot car while in West Vancouver.

Global News filmed the ‘Flashdance’ star returning to her Ford Escape parked on Marine Drive near 18th street, with her dog inside, and the windows cracked open a couple inches.

As she returned to her vehicle after five minutes, a passerby confronted the actress about leaving her dog, which appears to be a German Shepherd, in the car to which Beal replied, “it is fine”. The stranger, still agitated, informed Beals that he plans to report the incident to authorities.

As most of us are aware, Vancouver is experiencing a hotter than usual summer and leaving pets in vehicles, even with the windows slightly cracked, isn’t safe.

Jennifer Beals is married to Canadian Ken Dixon, and recently just finished shooting for the TNT series “Proof” in Vancouver.
