This year marks the 25th consecutive season of Vancouver Fashion Week. From Monday March 16th to Sunday March 22, the Fall/Winter 2015 collections from designers around the world and from Canada, will be featured across the runway.
Taking place at Queen Elizabeth Plaza, the seven day event will be kicked off by an opening gala on Monday March 16, 2015.
There will be over 30 designers showcased this season. “We are looking forward to sharing amazing creativity this season, with Vancouver shining the spotlight on lots of great local and international talent. We love to celebrate the diversity of fashion culture, and Vancouver provides this perfect platform to support emerging talent,” founder Jamal Abdourahman said.
Local designers, such as Connally McDougall, Grandi’s Atelier and Sarah Armstrong will have their designs hit the runways this season. “I am excited to be returning for Fall/Winter 2015 at Vancouver Fashion Week. The team are a great group of creative minds and they are amazing to work with. They are setting the pace for up and coming Canadian fashion designers supporting them with an international market. It is the best fashion event in western Canada and I cannot wait for the Opening Gala,” Armstrong said.
Joining these Vancouver designers are Noe Bernacelli, whose designs exude Peruvian style, Shravan Kumar, from India, and Hong Kong designer Hong Kiyoung.
If you wish to attend this 19+ event you can buy show passes, day passes, or a week pass online.
